Logo Contest!!! 5600 Points!!


Thank you for taking the time to read this, we are a new vector group that will primarily challenge you to contests and activities in Vector and Vexel! We are launching a new contest which this group was nice enough to help spread the news.

We need a logo/avatar. Something that says VectorMasters, professional, clean design is what we want here. The secret you need to know is that I am sending my own clients to this page to show them the best vector work that DeviantArt has to offer. The judges are from a range of industries and professions. They all know what it takes to create design work that sells, and they may want to work with you on their own projects if your awesome......so they make a great opening panel for judging.

Our logo has to be eye catching. Our logo must capture our audience in a visual communication that says Vector/Vexel, or digital art, or convey somehow what we do. Your submission must look good/legible at 100 px X 50 px, it must also fit into a 50 px X 50 px size while still filling the design space at both sizes without stretching or squishing.
Other than that, your freakin' artists, you know what you need to do.

Because we may like multiple entries (and because we support multiple artists), these are the prizes:

I am doing the point system this way so that I can start to bring the right people to look at the work submitted. The door is now open to our members, how you step through it is up to you.

The Rules:
1. YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF #VectorMasters!! If your not, just ask us.
2. YOU MUST SUBMIT VECTOR OR VEXEL!!
3. YOU RETAIN THE OWNERSHIP OF YOUR WORK. WE ARE INTERESTED IN A 1 YEAR USAGE RIGHTS, WITH AN EXTENSION OPTION. This leaves the group open to hold a yearly logo challenge. Winning logo will also be entered in next years challenge for extension.
4. Because we have few members at this point, I am leaving the deadline open to 60 days depending on number of entries. I have to rely on YOU, our members now to help get the word out. This is a design competition, the first of many. I want this group to be very active and we are prepared to deliver.
5.Submissions open May 1, 2013. Submissions close June 30, 2013.

NOTE: Keep in mind that we will launch other programs and activities during the progression of this competition. Although the activities will be very attractive, we really want your best work for this project! This group will try to test your ability to manage projects you want to tackle.
